What is Bombnav Once upon a time during the cold war, bombnav was a USAF career field (321X0). We worked on the bombing navigation systems on B-52 aircraft. Life was good. Until the USAF lost its mind and killed off bombnav and merged it with COM-NAV. If that was not insult enough we also picked up Tankers and Trash Haulers to work on. Combined with re-joining the ARMY it just became too much for me. I joined the USAF in 1986 to work on aircraft, not shoot M-16s and drive trucks for the ARMY. So I punched out at 20 years and 17 days and have never looked back. I thank the USAF for my training and education they provided as it is providing for my family today. So its been almost 4 years now since I have retired and I realize that the last 20 years were fun but its time to live the other 40 years so this is the start of a new journey. If you are looking for the old bombnav site... here it is. The Original bombnav.org site: http://bombnav.org/pages/top.htm Okay new site. I made a facebook group for Bombnav. This way people can control the content and upload photos and messages. Lets try this and see if this works better. Just go to face book and search for BOMBNAV in search box. Or look me up. Jim Skinner runs a Bombnav site here: http://bombnav.us What do I do now. A little of this and a little of that. I work as a Test and Evaluation Engineer for Boeing. I live in the Mojave Desert in North LA County. Work, Computers, Electronics and Music take up most of my time. .... | ||||||||||||||||
